We used estate settlers to totally clean out our parents house (after they had passed) and either sell, auction or ship everything that was there and there was quite a lot. They are extremely professional and excellent in communicating with us. They do their best to get the most for each item and kept us posted every step of the way. They even cleaned out the entire house to get it ready for the new occupants and did a superb job! I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to clean out a house or estate.

My mom recently passed away and my siblings and I had over 50 years of ‘stuff’ left by our mom and grandparents condensed into her 2 bedroom condo. We sat there for a few weeks trying to sort through it but we hit a wall both mentally and physically and realized we needed HELP. I called The Estate Settlers and Harvey quickly returned my call and met me at her condo to provide a quote. He provided a very fair price and got his crew to work cleaning out very quickly and efficiently. Great communication throughout. It made it easy, and a huge weight was lifted off of our shoulders as soon as we saw the cleaned out condo. It took a lot of stress away from us and I cannot recommend them more! The process of moving my mom into Assisted Living in Florida along with cleaning out her current apartment (after living there for 30+ years!) was extremely daunting being that I’m an only child and live up north. Harvey and the team from The Estate Settlers made the process extremely easy. Harvey was helpful in suggesting which furniture we could fit in my mom’s new apartment, brought in a buyer to purchase art and furniture, and cleaned out her apartment after she moved. Do you buy furniture?

No, we do not buy furniture directly. However, we work with furniture buyers who are liquidators and specialize in buying and reselling. We earn a commission and an hourly fee for coordinating and meeting with these buyers. If you are considering hiring us solely to sell furniture, it might not be cost-effective unless we are also handling a complete home cleanout for you.

How much does it cost?

Our pricing varies depending on whats in your home. We offer a variety of options to fit your needs and budget. For more information, please schedule a free in home consultation.

How far in advance do we need to begin the process?

The timeline depends on whether we are organizing the move for you. Typically, the entire process takes about 2 to 3 weeks from the time the resident has vacated the property. It’s best to contact us as soon as possible to ensure a smooth and timely transition.

Are you a moving company?

We are not a moving company. However, we work closely with reputable movers and will coordinate the entire move for you. You can leave with just your toothbrush—unless you want it packed, of course!

Do you do estate sales?

We do not run estate sales. Many neighborhoods in Florida are managed by HOAs and Condo Associations, which usually do not allow estate sales. Instead, we bring in liquidators who specialize in buying and reselling items at various price levels.

Harvey Segal started his career as a jeweler, manufacturing and retailing jewelry. He traveled with a gold buying group, purchasing precious metals and watches throughout South America. During this time, he also obtained his insurance license in Property & Casualty and Life. An unexpected turn of events led him away from the insurance industry, and he transitioned into his current role at The Estate Settlers.
